Delhi Tandoori in Frankfurt

Wonderful. The food is great. The central location is perfect and there is some parking space in the area. The waiter knows us meanwhile, we know him too, so that we know his manner (which at first seems a bit unfriendly) and know that he is by no means unfriendly, but simply a bit reserved. We like to come back again and again, the food is authentic and unbeatably delicious.

This place serves very authentic Indian cuisine . Especially the Naan over here is definitely the best I have had in Frankfurt . Also a delightful variety of amazing Indian dishes .We will definitely visit again and I heartily recommend this place !!

I think one of the best for tandoori indian food in Frankfurt however I would comment on the service. An incident that I recall, My mother had ordered a korma and she asked multiple times that there should be no coconut as she is allergic. The meal came with coconut, so we requested for a replacement / or to remove the coconut. He didn't seem to care rather said you should read and order. On the other hand, I was here once with a friend and the food was hot and service was friendly but be ready to wait for sometime for your food.

Upmarket Indian with a pleasant interior and good service. Even provided with humor. The Delhi Tandoori is certainly not for the first date or a business lunch, but it is solid in its dishes, which go beyond the mere plate service and are kept warm in warmer. Right in the center, but spared walk-in customers and bachelorette parties. There is still room for improvement.

Super good food was very very nice

I have come here many times as my friend knows the management well, food is good but very disappointed with the attitude here. I ordered Biriyani which had nuts sprinkled on. I told him I am allergic and he said it’s only on top. I told him I am allergic. He is arguing with me it’s only on top and that I should have told him before hand. I did not know they were going to sprinkle nuts. He is also arguing it’s almond not nuts. Well in my book almond is a nut. Last visit!

The food was OK. Although there wasn't much going on in the restaurant, no waiter came over for 1 hour, e.g. ask for more drinks.

We 3 people had dinner at Delhi Tandoori. We ordered Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Lamb Karahi. The taste of butter chicken was 10/10 and 7/10 for the remaining ones. The serving is a bit less and price is a bit hiked. Nevertheless, the ambiance is very good. If the serving matches the price, this would be a wonderful place for a desi dinner.

The food is ok. Frankfurt has a large selection of Indian restaurants. The staff is attentive. No accessibility.

Very good food and very friendly service. Although the restaurant was well attended, we didn't have to wait long for the food. It is advisable to reserve in advance.

Food was delicious. Service (2 gentlemen) not very friendly. Unfortunately it was very loud as there were so many people squeezed together in a rather small shop.

Price performance fits. Service friendly. Location okay, can be very noisy when visited. Sometimes a little longer waiting time between courses. Regular guests are sometimes preferred. Reservations recommended.

Great Indian food. Top service. The selection of starters, main courses and desserts is purely Indian and there is something for everyone. It is a shame that the restaurant in Kronberg no longer exists. If you want to go out to eat Indian, then you should definitely stop by and try it out.

We came here through the gourmet block. Got a seat immediately, the ambience is very nice. The naan was fresh and hot, the main courses were good too. There is still a bit of air in terms of taste when it comes to the spice. Generally the service was friendly and brisk. A great evening!

One of the best Indian restaurants in Frankfurt. All the dishes we ordered were carefully prepared, the flavors were balanced and the smell of the food was delicious. The amount of shrimp in the dishes was generous. Hand in hand chefدا. And no mistake. Worth the experience.

Nice & tasty food

A very good Indian restaurant in the heart of Frankfurt. Their specialty is Indian food but they also serve Chinese foods and burgers. Place is not a big one but easy to accommodate easily around 40/50 persons. For a bigger audience, they need to be pre informed. We were a group of around 50 people and they were very well managed when pre informed. Food quality was too good. Chicken karai, Sabzi, Fish, Dal chaawal everything was so tasty. My rating is 8/10

Amazing place. The chef is superb cook. Its been 3 years that I am visiting Delhi Tandoori not one time any of the dish tasted bad. I liked the service and friendly atmosphere.

Nice food and service

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was really nice too. We had chicken with spinach and chicken korma. Also got an extra helping of rice. I also found the Mango Lassi very good and also pretty sweet. For starters, the mixed starter plate was very varied. The amount of food was adequate too. I deducted only one star because I did not like the prices compared to the quality. There are Indian restaurants of similar quality but cheaper prices.

I chose to visit the restaurant by looking at the high prices, thinking that the food will be of good quality and taste. But to my surprise it was nowhere close to what I expected. Also the service was not good. I shall not recommend it.

Nice place tasty food

Nice Indian restaurant with tasty food. Due to its central location (near Hauptwache, my Zeil), it's quite easily accessible. Prices are at par with other Indian restaurants. One can sit outside and have a view of the busy city streets or sit inside and enjoy the beautiful interiors.

Service was absolutely shocking... Starter (chicken tikka) was lovely however the main course may as well have come from a jar. Coupled with rude and inattentive service, we shall not be visiting again.

Food was really nice and tasty, portion size was well balanced, staff super friendly and price totally reasonable. Will definitely come again when I am in Frankfurt and looking for Indian food.

Only for Mediocre Food

Very tasty Indian dishes with good value for money. The Naan was not perfect, but still good. The service could be a bit more attentive, especially if the place was only moderately filled as we did during our visit, but all in all we had a good time here and will definitely be back.
